The story behind the artwork

Best of Vancouver is a custom Vancouver art commission by Canadian artist Graham Watts, created as a panoramic original oil painting on canvas. This 70 x 24 inch piece brings together the energy, skyline, coastal setting, and local character of Vancouver in one long-format statement artwork.

This commission is an example of how Graham works with collectors to turn meaningful places into personal original paintings. Vancouver city views, West Coast light, mountain backdrops, and favourite local memories can all become the starting point for a custom oil painting.
