O Canada is a bold, contemporary celebration of the Canadian flag and the sense of belonging it represents.

The Story Behind O Canada

Graham created O Canada in tribute to Canada’s 150th anniversary and to the personal meanings carried by the country’s most recognizable symbol.

The flag is immediately familiar, but the hand-painted surface gives it a different presence. Variations in the oil paint, the visible movement of the composition and the reflective resin finish make the image change subtly as the viewer moves past it.

The glossy surface deepens the red and creates strong contrast against the white field. Rather than placing the painting behind glass, the resin becomes part of the artwork itself, protecting the painted surface while giving the colour greater visual depth.

Returns
A return may be requested within seven days of delivery. Return shipping is paid by the collector, and the painting must be returned undamaged in its original packaging.
