Original Vancouver Cityscape Painting – Reflections on Granville
Reflections on Granville is an original 36 × 48 inch oil on canvas painting by Vancouver artist Graham Watts, capturing a rainy late-night scene on Granville Street in downtown Vancouver.
Wet pavement becomes a mirror for the surrounding city lights, stretching colour across the street and giving the scene its luminous, cinematic atmosphere. Deep blues and dark urban tones are broken by warmer reflections, creating movement and energy throughout the composition.
The finished painting is coated with two layers of high-gloss clear art resin. The glossy surface intensifies the colour and reinforces the wet, reflective character of the Vancouver street scene.
Created for collectors drawn to Vancouver art, rainy cityscape paintings and original Canadian artwork, Reflections on Granville captures the atmosphere and visual energy of Vancouver after dark.
