The story behind the artwork
Original Black Bear Wildlife Painting – BELLA
BELLA is an original 40 × 30 inch oil on canvas painting by Canadian artist Graham Watts, featuring a black bear climbing through a tree surrounded by vibrant autumn colour.
The bear moves through the branches with a strong sense of weight and presence, while warm reds, oranges and yellows create a vivid contrast against its dark fur. The surrounding foliage gives the painting both energy and atmosphere, capturing a fleeting wildlife moment within the changing colours of fall.
The composition combines detailed wildlife realism with bold colour, celebrating the strength, agility and character of the black bear in its natural environment.
Created for collectors drawn to black bear art, Canadian wildlife paintings and original animal artwork, BELLA is a dramatic statement piece with a strong connection to the landscapes and wildlife of British Columbia.
