The story behind the artwork
Original Grizzly Bear Wildlife Painting – Radiant Bear
Radiant Bear is an original 12 × 12 inch oil on canvas painting by Canadian artist Graham Watts, featuring a seated grizzly bear illuminated in vivid blue, orange, purple and red.
The bear’s calm posture and detailed fur create a strong sense of presence, while the expressive colour palette gives the painting a contemporary, almost luminous quality. Against the dark background, glowing points of colour add atmosphere and reinforce the contrast between the bear and its surroundings.
The painting combines wildlife realism with bold, imaginative colour, transforming the familiar form of a grizzly bear into a distinctive modern interpretation of strength, calm and character.
Created for collectors drawn to grizzly bear art, colourful wildlife paintings and original Canadian artwork, Radiant Bear is a compact statement piece with strong visual impact.
