Rain and Reflections at Jack Poole captures downtown Vancouver on an evening when rain turns the city into light.
The towers surrounding Jack Poole Plaza rise into a heavy, cloud-filled sky while wet pavement reflects the buildings and city lights, stretching their colour into an abstract pattern of movement. The rain softens the hard edges of the architecture and gives the scene its cinematic energy.
