The story behind Vibrant Majesty

A grizzly bear naturally communicates power, but strength is only part of its character. Graham created Vibrant Majesty to explore the bear’s confidence, beauty and emotional presence through colour.

Instead of limiting the fur to natural browns, he used electric blues, glowing violets, rich pinks, fiery oranges and touches of gold. Cool colours create depth and shadow, while warmer colours bring light and movement across the bear’s form.

The dark background removes every distraction. It allows the grizzly to stand alone, illuminated by colour and completely commanding the canvas.

The result is both familiar and unexpected: an iconic Canadian animal presented with realism, imagination and an unmistakable sense of life.

Vancouver pickup

Complimentary pickup can be arranged from Graham’s Vancouver studio by appointment.

Vancouver and Whistler delivery

Direct online shipping is currently available to Canada and the United States. Collectors elsewhere are welcome to contact Graham for an individual shipping quotation.

Timing

The painting will normally be prepared for dispatch within five business days. Most orders arrive within approximately 12–15 business days of purchase, depending on the destination and carrier.
