The story behind the artwork
Original Grizzly Bear Wildlife Painting – Radiant Strength
Radiant Strength is an original 12 × 12 inch oil on canvas painting by Canadian artist Graham Watts, featuring a grizzly bear rendered in vivid blue, orange, purple and pink.
The bear is painted with detailed, textured fur while bold colour and light push the image beyond traditional wildlife realism. Its calm, direct expression gives the painting a strong sense of presence, while the dark background intensifies the luminous colour of the animal.
The contrast between realism and expressive colour creates a dramatic contemporary interpretation of one of Canada’s most recognizable wildlife species.
Created for collectors drawn to grizzly bear art, colourful wildlife paintings and original Canadian artwork, Radiant Strength is a compact but visually powerful piece designed to bring colour and character into a contemporary space.
